Udo joined Green Giraffe in 2015 and co-heads the Hamburg office. Udo advised on several sell-side and buy-side equity transactions, as well as debt raises and provided commercial contracting advice for renewable energy projects at different development stages and in different countries. He is also providing advice on tenders and renewable energy offtake solutions.

Amongst others, he led the debt and equity raises for the offshore wind projects TWB II (200 MW, Germany, 2017), Global Tech I (400 MW, Germany), and Gode Wind I (347 MW, Germany, 2018) as well as the development, structuring and sale of a 1.5 GW offshore wind portfolio to RWE in Poland. He also supervised the portfolio and pipeline valuation for the recently announced JV between ENERCON and EWE, Alterric, and the sale of the offshore wind service provider EWE OSS to Vinci Energies.

Before joining Green Giraffe, Udo worked for 14 years in the infrastructure finance and renewables team of PwC where he advised investors, developers and industry players on several onshore and offshore wind projects as well as infrastructure and public private partnership projects globally.

Udo holds a bachelor of business in finance from the University of Technology, Sydney, and graduated from Hamburg University with a degree in economics.
